Current Role as a Landscape Designer at Matrix New World Engineering responsible for the design of landscape architecture projects and services. I am involved in multiple planting and park designs, tree inventories, and site plan preparation for diverse landscape and hardscape installations for both commercial and residential properties. I have experience in creating management construction plans, site analysis and surveying, client communications, and zoning review requirements. I have a strong background utilizing programs like AutoCAD, Autolux Lighting Solutions, Adobe CS, SketchUp, ArcGIS, ArcGIS Survey123, and limited experience with MicroStation.

Professional Experience at Matrix New World Engineering:

LIRR Port Jefferson Station Enhancements, Port Jefferson, NY – Landscape Designer for the development of construction drawings for plaza spaces surrounding the station in coordination with an architectural team for the redevelopment of the Port Jefferson Station upgrades. The design included a landscape and pavement design with new ADA accessibility around the train station and platform. My role also included evaluating and designing the utility connections in the street.

 

Veterans Park – 25th Street Bayonne, NJ – Landscape Designer responsible for developing construction documents and oversight of plant installation. I assisted in creating a design that included the construction of a walkway and a shade structure to provide seating and educational signage to increase waterfront access in the neighborhoods adjacent to the park.

 

Feaster Park, New Brunswick, NJ – Landscape Designer for the development of construction drawings of the new 6-acre park. The Park included a children’s playground for the adjacent school an outdoor classroom, two previous basketball courts, an outdoor exercise area, an open plaza space, outdoor game tables, community gardens, a spray park, an Amphitheater for community activity space with porous pavers, and multiple rain gardens.

 

Sylvan Lake, Avon, NJ – Landscape Designer for the development of construction drawings of living shoreline elements and stormwater treatment wetlands. Responsible for overseeing the implementation of living shoreline elements and stormwater treatment wetlands. Worked with the contractor to identify field alterations within the landscape plan for a more successful planting and habitat creation. When installed, the plantings will provide a more stable edge for the lake and the stormwater treatment wetlands will improve the lake’s water quality. Part of the project was to deter geese from accessing the adjacent homeowner's lawns by reducing direct access to the water. This was achieved by establishing a living shoreline and public water access points.

 

Fleischmann Pier, Peekskill, NY – Landscape Designer for the design and development of the new pier, revitalized the waterfront park with new walkways, landscape, park signage, and parking.

 

Highbridge Interchange, Bronx, NY – Landscape Designer responsible for the development of construction drawings for the landscape elements of the Highbridge highway interchange improvement project. While working with the NJDOT to restore and plant native trees and shrubs for beautification. 

 

Former SML Site, Hillside, NJ – Landscape Designer for the development of the construction drawings, permitting, and renderings for the facility, which was remediated by Matrix under Industrial Site Recovery Act (ISRA) regulations. The design included a foundation planting, screening from adjacent property, and planting along the street frontage. Matrix’s role included overseeing the construction documents, permitting, and completion of remediation actions for the contaminated site.

 

CCNY North Academic Center Building UST Replacement, NYC, NY – Landscape Designer responsible for landscape restoration plans for the community college landscape beds at the building entrance. Part of the project was to address poor drainage and cracked concrete sidewalks. 

 

River Road Redevelopment, Chatham, NJ – Landscape Designer for the design and development drawing for the future mixed-use commercial and residential property. My responsibilities included general zoning overview, landscape plantings, foundation planting, screening along the loading bay, selection of all native plant material, and streetscape elements.

 

Nellie Bennett Marsh, Point Pleasant, NJ - Landscape Designer responsible for the development of the three rendered conceptual plans and sections for this 20-acre salt marsh restoration. The project consists of new marsh plantings, maritime forest enhancement, habitat restoration, and concepts for two boardwalks for waterfowl habitat viewing. 

 

Broadway Mall, New York, NY - Landscape Designer responsible for the tree identification and survey. Developed the tree protection, inventory, and landscape restoration plans for trees within the areas of the subway exhaust vents shafts. While working with the MTA directly to expedite the final product to meet their standards and expedited timeline. The project files required converting the AutoCAD Drawings to MicroStation utilizing MTA’s C&D ProjectWise templates.

 

NYCEDC Seaport & FiDi Resiliency, New York, NY - Landscape Designer assisted with the tree identification, and the development of the tree inventory and tree protection plan, and coordinated with the team’s arborist. My roles also included working with NYCDPR Forestry for an onsite review of their requirements for tree protection for planned soil borings within Battery Park and East River Esplanade Park.

Sylvan Lake Master Plan, Avon, NJ - Landscape Designer assisted in the development of the Overall Concept plan for improving the water quality of Sylvan Lake before it discharges into the ocean. This included programming areas for public access, restoring a natural water edge while using native plans to deter geese from coming on land, and planting at the street outfalls to reduce the suspended solids. This is a county-wide evaluation and a joint venture between two towns that each own half of the lake.

 

NYCDEP 7th Police Precinct, City of Yonkers, NY – Landscape Designer responsible for evaluating the existing landscape areas, tree identification plan, and reviewing local zoning and NYC zoning requirements. This project is for the NYCDEP and must also follow NYCCodes even though the property is in the City of Yonkers. My role also included creating a construction drawing set for the site layout and landscape restoration for the future use of the existing building based on the latest zoning regulations.

 

Woodrow Wilson Middle School- Edison, NJ - Landscape Designer for the development of construction drawings for the site layout, landscape, soil erosion, and construction details of the new school and parking lot expansion.

 

John Adams Middle School- Edison, NJ - Landscape Designer for the development of construction drawings for the site layout, landscape, soil erosion, and construction details of the new school and parking lot expansion.

Denny Farrell Riverbank State Park Stair Tower Rehabilitation, New York, NY - Landscape Designer responsible for construction documents and landscape plans for the rehabilitation of two stair towers at the state park. My role included performing tree identification and creating a tree protection plan for areas around the two stair towers. This included coordinating with NYCDEP, NYCDPR, and the Project Architect to minimize the impacts on the existing park trees. 

 

Luis Munoz Marin School, Newark, NJ - Landscape Designer responsible for the construction documents, and estimate in correlation with the project’s architects and the Trust for Public Lands for the one-acre school’s playground restoration. Some of the project's goals are to develop an educational rain garden, outdoor classroom, increase green space and provide natural shade, and remediate the soil. 

 

11 Mount Pleasant Avenue Warehouse, East Hanover, NJ – Landscape Designer for the development of the construction drawings for the area surrounding the proposed warehouse. My responsibilities included foundation/entry planting, screening from the road, parking lot planting, and a tree removal plan.

 

Sri Venkateswara Temple Expansion, Bridgewater, NJ – Landscape Designer responsible for the development of the construction drawings for the area surrounding the temple's parking lot and building expansion. My responsibilities included plant selection for foundation/entry planting, extensive screening from the road, and parking lot planting.  

 

PANYNJ Harrison Car Maintenance Facility Waterfront Restoration, Harrison, NJ – Landscape Designer responsible for the design of wetland restoration and mitigation landscape plans along the Passaic River to mitigate impacts to the floodplain area caused by the proposed improvements to the flood wall. My responsibilities included plant material selection and placement along the Passaic River. The plans were one part of the total project that included the design and construction of a new storage yard for rail cars, raising tracks G and H between AMTRAK Flyover and Hackensack bridges, extending the PATH of South Street Yard, completing a cost estimate for a crossover between Christopher St. and 9th St. for the PATH tunnels along the west side of Manhattan, modifying PATH Substation 14, installing concrete flood walls at the Grove St. and Newport PATH Stations, and identifying transportation technology/Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) applications to enhance PATH Rail Transit operations and real-time intra- and inter-agency information sharing.

 

Monitor St. Jersey City, NJ – Landscape Designer responsible for the development of the construction drawings for the area surrounding the proposed parking garage. My responsibilities included general zoning overview, general streetscape planting, foundation planting, and selection of plant material and streetscape elements.  

 

River Road Park, Garfield, NJ – Landscape Designer responsible for the development of the construction drawings for the 10-acre riverfront park and roadway improvements. My responsibilities included general zoning overview, landscape design, selection of plant material, streetscape elements, and submittal review.  

 

NYCPD Tow Pound Facilities, NYC, NY – Landscape Designer responsible for the zoning overview for the landscape requirements, for eleven tow pound facilities concepts, and providing options for the facilities to reach LEED Gold ratings per NYC’s Green initiative for all current and proposed NYCPD Tow Pound properties. My responsibilities included zoning review for landscape requirements, providing green infrastructure options, providing renderings of the proposed green infrastructure, and providing landscape requirements that could be utilized for the proposed tow-pound facilities.  

 

NYCDEP Tallman Island WWTP Improvements, College Point, NY – Landscape Designer responsible for the development of the construction drawings for screening the WWTP from the waterfront and bulkhead replacement. My responsibilities included creating presentations for EDC and NYCDPR showing renderings of the final landscape design, selection of plant material, and site furnishings for the 30-acre site.  

 

NYCDEP Honk Falls Dam Restoration, Wawarsing, NY– Landscape Designer responsible for the development of construction drawings for the restoration of Honk Lake after the removal of the former dam. My responsibilities included landscape design, selection of plant material, and six renderings that are a compilation of proposed conditions aerial, sections showing the typical style of the restored stream channel, and birds eye perspective depicting the final restoration work after one year of growth. Additional tasks were added to include five renderings for the expedited permit application to the Army Corps of Engineers depicting amounts and types of wetland disturbance and creation while working work external permitting specialists located on the West Coast of the US.

 

NYCEDC Brooklyn Bridge Coastal Resiliency, New York, NY – Landscape Designer responsible for the development of the tree mitigation plans and collaboration with NYCDPR and NYCDOT to limit the impacts on the street trees during construction.

 

City-Wide Ferry System – Coney Island Creek, Coney Island, NY –I was responsible for developing the construction drawings for screening around the new electrical enclosure for the proposed ferry landing as a Landscape Designer. My duties included landscape design, selecting plant material, conducting a tree inventory, and creating presentation documents for Parks and EDC review. These documents included an InDesign presentation that compiled renderings demonstrating the proposed limits of work aerial. I also included a rendered section of the proposed electrical enclosure with the landscape material at the time of planting.

 

City-Wide Ferry System – South Williamsburg, Brooklyn, NY – I was responsible for developing the construction drawings for screening around the new electrical enclosure to the proposed ferry landing as the project Landscape Designer. My duties included landscape design, plant material selection, and the creation of presentation documents for review by Parks and EDC. I prepared an InDesign presentation containing a collection of renderings showing the proposed limits of the work aerial, a rendered section of the proposed electrical enclosure with the landscape material at the time of planting, and renderings of the proposed new entrance with new paving.

Sportime Randall’s Island Tennis Center, Randall’s Island, NY – Landscape Designer responsible for the landscape design and development drawings for the project and tree removal plans. The final design included renderings of overall concepts

 

Newark Bay Waterfront Access - 16th Street, Bayonne, NJ – Landscape Designer responsible for the development of the construction drawings including updating hand rendering of the proposed landscape plan for presentation to the community board for the project to increase waterfront access in neighborhoods surrounding the park. The design includes the construction of a boardwalk and fishing pier, reconstruction of a boat ramp, and installation of groins/sand placement to create a small beach and establish living shoreline plantings.

 

New Jersey Convention & Expo Center, Edison, NJ - Landscape Designer responsible for the development of the construction drawings for both the Tree Inventory & Removals Plan and the Landscape Plan. My responsibilities also included a tree inventory and calculating the replacement inventory required per local zoning.

 

Marlboro Development Group, Marlboro, NJ – Landscape Designer responsible for the drawings for the tree inventory and removals plans and landscape plan. My responsibilities also included reviewing the local zoning, providing a tree inventory and replacement plan, and selecting the plant material for the proposed townhome development.

 

Jackson 21 Development, Jackson, NJ – Landscape Designer responsible for the design and development of the landscape plans which includes a plant list for preliminary street trees and required screening per zoning review for the 600+ acre mixed-use development comprised of 1,541 townhomes and apartments. 

 

Jackson Woods, Jackson, NJ – Landscape Designer responsible for the development of the construction drawings which include a plant list for plantings around the stormwater control ponds to provide tree frog habitat while limiting impacts of geese. My responsibilities also included overseeing the planting of test plots per client request.

 

Monroe Street, Rahway, NJ - Landscape Designer responsible for the development of the construction drawings for the landscape plan and exterior lighting plan for a proposed parking garage and walking path along the Rahway River.

 

New York City Department of Design and Construction, ROW Green Infrastructure monitoring, Jamaica Bay, NY – Landscape Designer providing monitoring reports of 137 custom green infrastructure improvements for one growing season. My responsibilities included monthly site inspections that documented the conditions of the green infrastructure. The project's goal was to increase stormwater resiliency and decrease stormwater flow into the City’s combined sewer outfalls, the project required the designs of green infrastructure assets, such as right-of-way bioswales and right-of-way rain gardens. Matrix was also involved in the process which included the selection of a plant pallet and tree guards for more than 800 different sites based on existing conditions and surrounding utilities in urban and residential areas throughout Jamaica Bay.

 

New York City Department of Design and Construction, Green Infrastructures Planting Oversite Phase II, Jamaica Bay, NY – Landscape Designer providing planting oversite of 195 custom green infrastructure improvements. My responsibilities included inspections of all plant material documenting what and how plantings were growing and reporting directly to the NYCDEP, I was also tasked with overseeing. The Project goal was to increase stormwater resiliency and decrease stormwater flow into the City’s combined sewer outfalls, the project required the designs of green infrastructure assets, such as right-of-way bioswales and right-of-way rain gardens.

 

Maywood Avenue Wetland Restoration, Maywood, NJ - Landscape Designer responsible for the development of the construction drawings including an updated rendering of the proposed landscape plan for presentation to the property owner. My responsibilities included project over-site during the installation of the four acres of landscape material and after project completion providing a monthly monitoring report for the landscape materials growth for the first year. I was tasked with providing a monitoring report of the site for NJDEP for the five years after completion to ensure the success of the installed plant material beginning in 2019.

 

LIRR Northport Station Enhancements, Northport, NY – Landscape Designer for the development of the construction drawings for plaza spaces surrounding the station. The designs included a landscape and pavement design, grading, and ADA access around the train station.

 

LIRR Syosset Station Enhancements, Syosset, NY – Landscape Designer for the development of the construction drawings for plaza spaces surrounding the station. The designs included a grading and pavement design around the train station.

 

Cedar Swamps Self Storage Facility Jackson, NJ - Landscape Designer for the development of the construction drawings for the landscape plan. My responsibilities include zoning review and selecting the plant material to conform to the zoning requirements.

 

East Amwell Elementary School Rain Garden, East Amwell, NJ - I was responsible for a rendered landscape plan and presentation of the installed rain garden provided to the 5th-grade class teachers to integrate into yearly education. The presentation included a fact sheet of all the plant material for the teacher to use in future classes.

 

Oaks at Glenwood Tree Inventory and Removals Plan, Old Bridge, NJ - Landscape Designer responsible for identifying the trees for the tree inventory and removals plan. This was provided to the town to determine the amount of restitution or required planting for the development of the 25 acres. 

 

Bronx River Control Plan - Tree Inventory and Removals Plan, The Bronx, NY - Landscape Designer responsible for identifying the trees for the tree inventory and removals plan. Provide tree protection methods and specifications to the NYCDEP and NYCDPR for the installation of a CSO bypass within Soundview Park. 

 

Clifton Warehouse Landscape Restoration- Clifton, NJ - Landscape Designer responsible for the development of the construction drawings for the landscape restoration plans for the remediation of the 4-acre warehouse site.

 

Regency Shopping Center for the Oaks at Glenwood, Old Bridge, NJ - Landscape Designer responsible for the tree inventory and removal plan, as well as the design and development drawings for the landscape plan around the 20-acre shopping center.

 

18 Central Avenue, West Orange, NJ - Landscape Designer responsible for the development of the construction drawings for the landscape plan. My responsibilities include zoning review and selecting the plant material to conform to the zoning requirements for low-income housing. All plant material was to be native and low maintenance while including a planted stormwater basin.

 

Kingsley Park Tennis Court Reconstruction, South Brunswick, NJ - Landscape Designer responsible for the development of the construction drawings for the removals and layout plan for the restoration work for the proposed new tennis courts.

 

Stewart Warehouse, Ridgefield, NJ - Landscape Designer responsible for the development of the construction drawings for the landscape plan. My responsibilities include zoning review and selecting the plant material to conform to the zoning requirements. The site required additional care in selecting the plant material due to its proximity to a tidally influenced freshwater stream.

 

Swimming River Park, Monmouth, NJ - Landscape Designer responsible for the development of the construction drawings for a proposal of a concept plan rendering for the park that includes a proposed wetland with a boardwalk through the proposed 5-acre forest with a kayak launch, boat ramp, fishing pier, and a new building.

 

Summit Ave, Jersey City, NJ - Landscape Designer responsible for the design and development drawings for the landscape plan of a mixed-use building on 2 acres. My responsibilities included selecting the plant material and landscape design and details.

 

NYCHA Boiler Replacement – Marcy House, Brooklyn, NY - Landscape Designer responsible for identifying the trees for the tree inventory and removal plan and the landscape restoration plans after the completion of the new boilers servicing 10 apartment buildings.

 

South Hunterdon Regional School District Recreation Fields-Lambertville, NJ - Landscape Designer responsible for setting up the design and development drawings for sports field installation of the new running track and football field. 

 

Delancey Street Redevelopment- Newark, NJ - Landscape Designer responsible for the development of the construction drawings for the landscape plan. My responsibilities included general zoning overview, general planting, foundation planting, screening, selection of plant material, and streetscape elements for the distribution warehouse.

 

Linwood School Improvements, North Brunswick, NJ - Landscape Designer for the development of the construction drawings for the parking lot expansion and landscape plans for the existing school. With the expansion of the parking lot, there was a required planted stormwater basin. 

 

Wrightstown Development, Wrightstown, NJ - Landscape Designer for the development of the construction drawings for the mixed-use development composed of single-family homes, townhouses, apartments, and commercial properties over a 43-acre site. My role included reviewing the zoning requirements for the landscape and lighting of the mixed-use development and researching Pineland's accepted plant materials for use within the landscape design.

 

MacGregory Brook Trail, Peekskill, NY - Landscape Designer responsible for the presentation of the design concepts of the MacGregory Brook Trail Park for the Steering committee of Peekskill. My responsibilities also included the design and development of landscape plans for areas around the park signage, parking, and the proposed pathway.

 

South Beach Blue Belt Drilling Oversite, Staten Island, NY - Landscape Designer tasked to oversee the sampling and cataloging of the soil samples taken at 11 different locations for the restoration of tidal marshes to reduce the extreme coastal flooding. 

 

Superfresh Supermarket Concept Plans- Newark, NJ – Landscape Designer in charge of reviewing zoning and redevelopment plan to create three concept layouts of a supermarket on the first floor and two or three stories of apartments above with parking provided on-site. The building footprint was determined by the required parking for both uses. The three concepts were provided to the client to be presented to the town for approval.

 

New York City College of Technology Courtyard – Brooklyn, NY – Landscape Designer responsible for creating the landscape plan concept for the updated courtyard. The courtyard landscape will consist of all native plant material to provide areas of pollination and habitat. Following the removal of oil tanks and remediation of the soil. 

 

Flag Management- Rahway, NJ – Landscape Designer in charge of creating the landscape plan for the proposed parking garage. Special consideration was taken for the plantings that are within the floodway of the Rahway River.

 

Bridge Park- Borough of the Bronx, NY – The Landscape Designer in charge of the QAQC for the landscape plans of Bridge Park. The Park is a part of the NYC Resiliency redesign with proposed flood mitigation walls along 5 miles of waterfront. Items reviewed were overall layout, coordination with other disciplines, landscape details, and landscape specification review. 

 

Manhattan Greenway- Manhattan, NY – Landscape Designer tasked with reviewing the landscape plans of Manhattan Greenway is a part of NYC Resiliency redesign with the proposed flood mitigation walls. Items reviewed were overall layout, coordination with other disciplines, landscape details, and landscape specification review.

 

Verona/ Montclair Tree Identification- Verona, NJ – Landscape Designer responsible for performing a tree inventory for the site to create a tree removal and mitigation plan. I was also tasked with reviewing the zoning to determine the tree replacement requirements based on the quantity and size of the trees removed.

 

Staten Island Dune Vegetation Inventory- Staten Island, NY – Landscape Designer tasked with performing a dune vegetation inventory to identify the overall existing health/ what plant communities are present on the dunes.  I was required to document 21 test plots with georeferenced photos and documentation assisted by using ArcGIS Survey123 to create a final report provided to NYCDDC. During the plant inventory, it was discovered that the dunes were covered in an invasive grass that was not yet formally documented in this localized coastal area in Staten Island. 

 

McGuire Fields Shoreline Vegetation Inventory- Brooklyn, NY – Landscape Designer tasked with performing a shoreline vegetation inventory to identify the overall existing plant communities.  I was required to document test plots every 50 feet with georeferenced photos and documentation assisted by using ArcGIS Survey123 to create a final report provided to NYCDDC. Plants were identified, and average plant height and plant stem quantities were determined to provide an understanding of the existing shoreline resiliency to climate change.

 

Arlington & Mariners Marsh Coastal Wetland Restoration Concepts- Staten Island, NY – Landscape Designer responsible for creating concept renderings and cross sections to represent possible coastal wetland restoration that could be completed on the two sites. My additional tasks included quantifying the maximum wetland creation and restoration areas and providing a native plant material list appropriate to the low marsh, high marsh, and coastal marine areas. Graphics were created to show the NYCDEP, NYCDPR, NYCDDC, and Army Corp. of Engineers the concepts of the wetland restoration areas and intent.

 

Avenue U Tree Identification and Landscape Plans- Brooklyn, NY - Landscape Designer responsible for the design and development drawing for the tree mitigation and landscape plans while collaborating with others to limit the impacts on the street trees during construction of the new force main installation.

 

Borden Ave Tree Identification for Tree Mitigation and Tree Restoration Plans- Brooklyn, NY - Landscape Designer responsible for the design and development drawing for the tree mitigation and landscape plans while collaborating with other disciplines to limit the impacts on the street trees during construction of the new force main installation.

 

Paerdegat Pump Station Rehabilitation- Brooklyn, NY - Landscape Designer tasked with the design and development drawing for the tree mitigation and landscape plans while collaborating with others to limit the impacts on the existing trees during the construction. All proposed plant material is native and is planned to reduce the amount of maintenance required.

 

31 Capital Drive Warehouse, Moonachie, NJ – Landscape Designer for the development of the construction drawings for the area surrounding the proposed warehouse. My responsibilities included foundation/entry planting, screening from the road, and parking lot island planting.

 

Wall Affordable Housing, Wall, NJ – Landscape Designer for the development of the construction drawings for the landscape plan. My responsibilities included general zoning overview, general planting, foundation planting, screening, selection of plant material, and streetscape elements for the 40-acre site of an affordable assisted living facility.  

 

Bayonne Waterfront Walkway, Bayonne, NJ – Landscape Designer responsible for the development of the construction drawings of the proposed walkway. My responsibilities included site visits to document existing conditions to create existing conditions, demolition, grading, and landscaping plans. The proposed walkway will be the final connection to link two previously designed and installed waterfront walkways.

NJ Expo Center Parking Lot Expansion and Tree Inventory- Edison, NJ – Landscape Designer for the development of the construction drawings for the parking lot expansion. My responsibilities included zoning review, performing a tree inventory, tree removal and mitigation plans, landscape plans, and soil erosion and sediment control plans.

 

Lincoln Elementary School- Edison, NJ - Landscape Designer for the development of the construction drawings for the building and parking lot expansion for the school addition. The project includes a new playground space and an expanded parking lot for faculty. 

 

Fox Hollow Housing Development- Branchburg, NJ - Landscape Designer for the development of the construction drawings for the mixed-use development composed of single-family homes, townhouses, and apartments, 40-acre site. My role included reviewing the zoning requirements for the landscape and lighting of the mixed-use development and performing a tree inventory for 20+ acres. After the tree inventory was completed the tree removal and replacement plan was able to be created.

 

Neilson Street Park- New Brunswick, NJ - Landscape Designer for the development of the construction drawings of the new park, including two dog park areas, an open play space, pervious paver areas with an open-air stage area, for community activity space.

 

Bus Parking Lot Expansion 40 Russo- Berkeley, NJ - Landscape Designer in charge of creating the landscape restoration plans for the parking lot and stream channel daylighting. Special consideration was taken for the plantings that are within the narrow stream channel.

 

NAVSTA Newport Parking Lot Expansion- Newport, Rhode Island – Landscape Designer tasked with creating landscape plans for the parking lot area that include BMP Plantings in accordance with the Rhode Island Stormwater standards. My responsibilities included zoning review plant selection, plant layout, and parking lot lighting design.

 

Rosedale Tree Mitigation and Planting Plans- Rosedale, Queens, NY - Landscape Designer responsible for reviewing proposed construction plans and tree mitigation requirements for NYCDDC. I was also tasked with creating tree planting plans and estimates for all tree mitigation and replacement plantings along 10 miles of roads.

 

North Bergen Parking Lot Concepts- North Bergen, NJ – Landscape Designer tasked with creating parking lot concepts for the site. I was tasked with reviewing the zoning and design of the three parking lot concepts to maximize the parking spaces and possible retail space.

 

Riley Elementary School- South Plainfield, NJ – Landscape Designer responsible for the development of the construction drawings for the school annex building addition. My role included preparing the landscape plans, site layout, soil erosion, grading, and utility plans. 

 

Borden Ave Tree Identification Queens, NY, NY – Landscape Designer responsible for performing a tree identification to create a Tree Inventory Report documenting the existing conditions of the trees along the proposed corridor of the CSO replacement along 6 miles of roadway.

 

Throgs Neck Bridge Tree Inventory and Tree Replacement Plan Queens/ Bronx, NY, NY – Landscape Designer responsible for performing a tree identification to create a Tree Inventory Report documenting the existing conditions of the trees and documenting the invasive plants within project limits. While being the project manager scheduling personnel to perform the tree inventory my responsibilities also include creating concept renderings, landscape restoration, tree planting plans, and specifications around the Queens and Bronx Approach. 

 

NYS Parks Denny Farrell Riverbank State Park – New York, NY – Landscape Designer responsible for creating the drainage and turf restoration plans for baseball fields and playground areas. My responsibilities included designing the landscape, selecting plant materials, conducting a tree inventory, and preparing presentation documents for review by Parks and EDC.
