Jackson 21 Residential Development 
While I was a part of Matrix New World Engineering I worked on a large residential development as the landscape designer. I was tasked to review local zoning requirements for the landscape and lighting of the mixed-use site that was composed of retail, apartments, and townhouses. I worked with Matrix's engineers to design the stormwater detention ponds with pools that had a living shoreline specifically designed to deter geese and beautify the adjacent areas for proposed walking trails. I created the planting plan for the required number of shade trees, foundation plantings, and lighting design to meet the required lighting levels and provided additional areas for rain gardens to reduce the size of the detention ponds. The project began construction in 2022 and is expected to be complete by 2025.
